VISITING PARADISE HILLS VINEYARD
1) Do you allow picnics?
Answer: We do have inside & outside seating. You are welcome to bring your picnic lunch with you. We do not allow grills or catered food.
2) Do you have a restaurant?
Answer: No we don’t have a restaurant at the winery but we will gladly give you a few take-out menus if you want to have food delivered.
3) Do you allow outside beverages?
Answer: No we do not allow any outside beverages on our property. This is a restriction of our Farm Winery Permit. Any violation of this restriction puts our permit in jeopardy. We have non-alcoholic beverages available at the wine bar for sale: soda, coffee, tea, water & juice, etc.
4) If we don’t finish our wine, can we take the opened bottle home?
Answer: Yes, Please bring your bottle to the bar so we can legally bag it for you.
5) Do you donate wine?
Answer: No we do not donate wine but we will try to accommodate your request for a donation. Please send us a request on your letterhead via email to and please include a copy of your Tax exempt form from the state of CT to info@paradisehillsvineyard.com
6) Do you sell your wine to local liquor stores?
Answer: No we do not because we want you to come and visit us in Paradise!
7) Are dogs allowed?
Answer: You are welcome to bring your dog with you when you visit Paradise Hills Vineyard. Your pet must not be left alone, and you must clean up after him/her if necessary. No pets, except official guide dogs, are allowed inside the winery building. Also, please keep in mind that there may be children and our #HensOfParadise running around at any given time, so your pet must be not left alone – for his or her safety as well as the safety of all our guests.
8) Do you take reservations?
Answer: We do not take reservations. Seating and Wine Tastings are first come, first serve.
9) Can we take our engagement photos at the vineyard?
Answer: You are welcome to take your engagement or wedding photos on the premises. Please email in advance to let us know when you will be coming.
10) Do you allow Weddings or Showers?
Answer: We do not host weddings, showers, family or private events. We are open to the public 7 days a week. www.ctwine.com has a lot of information on vineyards that do.
11) Do you accept credit cards?
Answer: Yes, we accept all major credit cards! Visa, MasterCard, & Discover & American Express. We do not accept checks.
12) Are you handicapped accessible?
Answer: Yes, we are wheelchair accessible. Handicapped parking is right to the side of the winery in the front. We also have a handicapped ramp that brings you right into the winery. Also, our restroom is wheelchair accessible.
13) When is Harvest?
Answer: Harvest takes place late September, early October. Check our events page of our website or Facebook if you would like to volunteer!
